MOBILE APP TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Nsukka MFB Mobile App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Eligibility & Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Nigeria to use this app.
- You are responsible for providing accurate KYC (Know Your Customer) information.
- You agree to keep your login credentials (PIN, Password, Biometrics) confidential. Any transaction performed using your credentials will be deemed as authorised by you.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the Nsukka MFB Mobile App to:
- Engage in money laundering, terrorism financing, or any fraudulent activity.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass the app’s security layers.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or automated bots to probe our configuration files or databases.
- Use the app for any purpose that violates Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations or the Cybercrimes Act.
4. Liability Waivers & Indemnity
- Self-Security: Nsukka MFB shall not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to secure your mobile device or for sharing your OTP/PIN with third parties.
- Service Availability: While we strive for 99.9% uptime, the Bank is not liable for losses caused by system maintenance, telecommunication failures, or “Acts of God.”
- Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold Nsukka MFB and its partners harmless from any claims, damages, or legal fees resulting from your violation of these terms.
5. Transaction Limits & Fees
- The Bank reserves the right to impose daily transaction limits in accordance with CBN guidelines.
- Applicable fees for transfers, bill payments, and SMS alerts will be debited from your account as per our standard tariff.
6. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if:
- We suspect fraudulent or suspicious activity on your account.
- You violate any part of this Acceptable Use Policy.
- We are required to do so by law or regulatory directive.
7. Intellectual Property
All app content, logos, and software are the exclusive property of Nsukka Microfinance Bank Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal banking only.
8. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved via mediation. If unresolved, the matter shall be referred to the courts within the jurisdiction of Nsukka, Enugu State.
